“Balance in motion”

“Balance In Motion” was created live for the Big Muddy Gala here in St. Louis, MO. This makes the 4th auction event that I have painted live for, where the piece could be bid on while I finish. The evening was such a huge success and the event itself was filled with inspiring artists of all kinds. I am so proud to have been a part of it and look forward to what comes next.

This painting was inspired by Roye Goldschmidt, a movement coach based in Israel, and my love of the male form in a unique and almost contorted position. I wanted to showcase a little of the arms in motion to show the process of finding balance. This was a joy to create and to observe others falling in love with it. This piece is now hung up in its new home in St. Louis and I couldn’t be happier with it.
